REVIEW: TIROVINO

Newcomer Tirovino is an Italian restaurant and wine bar for hipsters who want decent food at a fair price, a loud soundtrack of techno blaring behind which they can look fabulous and admire themselves, and a location not too far from wherever they may stumble next.

Taking over the much loved but rarely frequented All’Angelo space, the interior is a paean to cool mired only by the annoying television playing above the bar.  It’s a hip, dark space with black and white photos adorning the walls along with smoked mirrors and a bar running much of the length of the restaurant.  Central casting has been deployed to make sure the clientele is properly coiffed and looking marvelous as they sip on beer and wine.
