On a nondescript stretch of Sepulveda sits this Vietnamese (with some Chinese specialties) restaurant with a small indoor and outdoor seating area. On this lunch day they are not even half-full but have a battalion of waiters at the ready. Three waiters, seven patrons. Odds seem good that the water glass will remain full. That of course does not happen.
The Monster has come to get the Salt and Pepper Shrimp which have been recommended to him. An order of chicken spring rolls also seems like a good bet. There is a blackboard with various lobster and shrimp specials but The Monster decides against totally overeating today in a rare display of self control.
