REVIEW: ED’S LOBSTER BAR

The Monster’s week in New York goes like this.  Arrive.  Eat.  Eat.  Eat.  Sleep.  Eat.  Eat.  Eat.  Eat.  Eat.  Drink.  Sleep.  Meetings.  Eat.  Eat.  Eat.  Meetings.  Meetings.  Eat.  Eat. Eat.  Eat.  Eat.  Drink.  Drink.  Eat.  Sleep/Eat.  So when he finds out Ed’s Lobster Bar is walking distance from the hotel a trip is most assuredly in order. 

A long white marble counter running the length of the narrow room with twenty or so high stools ready for diners, a few tables in the back for larger parties make up the narrow restaurant.  Four beers are offered on tap (including Belfast Bat Brewing Co. Lobster Ale!) and some decent wines to enjoy with your seafood.  A chalkboard tallies the day’s menu. It’s seafood. Then some seafood. And more still. The Monster can get used to this.
