On the Basque Block is Bardenay (sailor term for cocktails) a restaurant and distillery serving up Northwest inspired food and drink. This is the first restaurant in the US with the ability to create handcrafted liquor on-site. This is going to be a boozy lunch.
Sitting outside on the patio (so hot, shade not much help) The Monster peruses the menu. Red curry and turmeric marinated chicken breast skewers with hoisin-peanut dipping sauce sound about right as do chili and citrus marinated shrimp skewers with honey, cilantro, lime and chili dipping sauce.
