You want Lebanese.  And so you go to Sunnin.

The former hole in the wall moved across the street into a bigger (and tonier) space a few years back and with it comes the inevitable pros and cons.  Let’s discuss…

They now have parking!

You can actually get a table for you and friends!

You don’t have to leave smelling like all the food you ate!

Service can be great!

You can take your mom!

The old place had charm!

Service can be suspect!

The food doesn’t taste quite as great!

You can take your mom!

On this evening there is the pickled plate (decent), falafel and hummus (falafel is great, hummus is good) and the chicken shawarma plate (tasty, filling).  On this evening service is efficient and even pretty friendly.  On this evening The Monster leaves feeling happy about Sunnin.

And yet he stares across the street at the old space (now the Sunnin Bakery) longingly.  There was just something to be said for waiting for a seat, squeezing into it and sharing a cozy meal.

Why go?  You like elbow-room.
