Hate The Grove.  Hate.  And now The Monster hates The Fat Cow.  Drove all the way to Satan’s playground for fried chicken.  And am then told it comes with a sausage gravy.  What is this nitwit Brit doing?  Why Gordon?  Just why?

Because it sure as hell isn’t listed on the menu.  You’d think, you’d think that something like a sausage gravy would be listed.  Because just putting gravy does not cut it.  If you want to make this a twist on chicken fried steak have at it but at least let us know upfront.  Oh, would you like a cheese pizza?  Great, it also has veal on it.  That salad is served with bone marrow but we decided not to list that.  Oops.

So instead of getting his fried chicken on it’s chilled tomato and red pepper gazpacho and a vodka, tomato and mozzarella pizza.  That sounds not even halfway as delicious as fried chicken.

Listen, if you like The Grove, if you like horrible parking, worse shops and insufferable people then have at it.  Come to The Fat Cow and have your dreams dashed.  You’ll eat over-priced food in a restaurant attached to a movie theater.

How long does it take to pour some gazpacho in a bowl and serve it?  At the Fat Cow a really, really long time.  And then when it comes The Monster realizes he has to do the pouring himself.  But guess what?  The pizza comes before you finish your soup.  Awesomeness!

Oh, how was the food?  Who cares.

Why go?  You’re insufferable.
