Yard House is a huge brewpub chain with locations throughout the country including Los Angeles.  The one in downtown Palm Beach Gardens which The Monster has been to quite a few times has classic rock playing (Mr. Bojangles!), a menu the size of a dictionary (if anyone remembers what those look like) that covers every type of food conceivable.  It’s also a singles scene in these parts but if you come here looking for a mate The Monster truly pities your life.

High tables ring the huge bar with so many beers on tap it would take forever and a day for a person to make their way through them all (hmm, The Monster smells a challenge).  There are plenty of booths and outdoor seating though your view is cars going to Whole Foods or the movie theater.

You want Mexican/Chinese/Japanese/American/Korean/Thai you can have it all!  Wings and a Chinese chicken salad!  Ahi poke and linguine!  Lobster, crab artichoke dip and tacos!  Think of a Cheesecake Factory with a ton of beer instead of dessert.  The Monster has made his way through quite a bit of the menu and on this occasion decides to be unhealthy and then even more unhealthy.

The wings are the dry buffalo variety (eh), meaty at least.  Like all things here it’s a portion your cardiologist would not approve of.  This is a first time order and also a last time order, not because they are bad but because one can get better elsewhere.

The spicy tuna roll is less a roll and more a mound of seared rare ahi, avocado, edamame, cucumber and wasabi soy sauce.  The Monster knows many people love it.  He’s not one of them.

The crab encrusted swordfish over wasabi mash with julienned carrots and snow peas in a lemongrass beurre blanc is the call for the entree.  The crab may be a little creamy, the swordfish a tad dry, but together this is big portion grub that satisfies.

So when the mood strikes to have some beer and chow Yard House is a decent option.

Why go?  There are never too many beers on tap for you, big guy.

  2. I like what you guys are usually up too. This type of clever work and reporting!
Keep up the amazing works guys I’ve included you guys
    to my blogroll.

  3. Unquestionably consider that which you stated.
Your favorite justification appeared to be at the internet
the simplest thing to bear in mind of. I say to you, I certainly
get irked while other people consider concerns that they just
don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as
neatly as defined out the entire thing with no need
side-effects , folks can take a signal. Will likely be back to
    get more. Thank you

  4. Your method of telling everything in this paragraph
is in fact nice, every one can without difficulty be aware of it, Thanks
    a lot.
